Coldwell Banker Real Cooks BBQ Team Bob and Sharon Counce along with Carl Counce have a compeditive BBQ team called "The Real Cooks". They have entered several KCBS competitions and have a winning record. In 2002 "The Real Cooks" recorded a 1st place in Chicken with a perfect score of 180 at the Tennessee State Championship Cook-Off. In 2003 in Gallatin the team landed 2 top 10's in the individual categories and recorded a 12th overall. This year at the Wilson County Fair's "Amazin Blazin" a 10th overall out of 53 teams. Then in Gallatin a 4th place in ribs, 5th in pork and landed a 6th overall. The cooking team is used for many fundraisers in the community. Some of these are for the Lawrenceburg Kiwanis Club, Lawrence County Football, Summertown Baskettball, Ingram Sowell School and many more. 1st Chicken with a perfect 180 score. |
